DKY Yeni Sahra

DKY Yeni Sahra is an urban transformation project planned by DKY Insaat in the Yeni Sahra neighborhood of Atasehir, on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. It was announced in 2013 as a project of several stages with up to 10.000 residential units on a land area of 238.000 sqm. The first stage was to have 1.500 units on a 30.000 sqm land area, and it was originally to be delivered in January 2019. Construction did not begin: the agreements with the property owners were not completed, and as of 2026 the existing buildings of the neighborhood are still standing.

The plans include not only residential units but also commercial areas to be used as stores. They also list social facilities such as children’s play areas, a sauna, a fitness center, an underground car park, CCTV monitoring and security staff, together with water storage, a booster, a power generator and an elevator. The units are planned with central heating and heat cost allocator systems.
