Hava Kent was announced in 2017 by the S.S CVS Hava Kent housing cooperative for Akpinar in Eyup, close to Istanbul Airport and the third bridge. It was planned with 4.000 flats in different designs, 1+1, 2+1 and 3+1, with sizes ranging between 60 and 120 sqm and a balcony for every flat, in a landscape of forests and the Black Sea. Construction did not start.
The plans included indoor and outdoor pools, children's playgrounds, a sauna, football and basketball courts, a shopping center and a market, as well as a hospital and a school for children.
