Gunes Tepe Istanbul was announced in 2016 for a 112.000 sqm land area in Gunesli, Bagcilar. It was planned with 1,160 residences in 18 blocks, in types between 1 + 1 and 4 + 1, and with a 67.635 sqm area set aside for the garage, commercial units, social facilities and common areas, gathered in 19 blocks. The project did not go ahead. In 2025 another developer started sales of a different project, Avrupa Konutlari Gunesli, on the same land.
The site is in the center of Bagcilar, within walking distance of metro lines: Yenimahalle Metro Station and Mahmutbey Metro Station are 10 - 15 minutes away. It is near Basin Ekspres Road and the TEM and E-5 highways.
