Solarkent

Solarkent is built in Esenyurt by Aydinli Yapi. It consists of 866 residential units. It is placed on a 28.000 sqm area, 4.300 sqm of which is reserved to be used for the solar energy system. It is Turkey’s first self-sufficient project in terms of its energy needs. The project contains a fitness center, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa, a mini football field, a playground for children, a kindergarten, a tennis court, a basketball court, a hiking trail and many other facilities. The project is located at the crossroads where the E5 and E80 highways are linked. Both of these roads are connected to the city center. The project is celebrated for its climate change awareness with its solar systems. Security is provided by security units and high-technology security systems.
