Demirhan Fuente

Demirhan Fuente is a residential project by Demirhan Insaat in the Cinar neighborhood of Maltepe, near the Kucukyali coast on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is being built on an old waterfront plot near the coast, between Sahil Sokak and Safaklar Sokak, where a boathouse and a mansion once stood. The building has only 9 apartments, all of them duplexes, and the developer notes that the Maltepe coastal park is a few steps away.

The floor plans published by the developer show garden duplexes on the ground and first floors: a 4+1 of about 220 sqm, a 5+1 of about 239 sqm and a 6+1 of about 266 sqm gross, each with a private garden of 80 to 100 sqm. The facade is clad in compact laminate panels over stone wool insulation, with angled window frames that let in more daylight. A solar power system on the roof will produce electricity for the building, and water collected in the garden and under the foundations will be reused for irrigation and other needs. Lifts are by Schindler and window frames by Rehau.
